WELCOME to my Hudnall Family Memories Blog. I hope to hear from you often and encourage you to join in the "conversations" as I wander through the process of "finding" and learning about the lives of my Ohio Hudnalls, their ancestors, explorers, pioneers.

My purpose is to  create a picture of what life was like in southern Ohio for those pioneers who came across the mountains after the Revolutionary War,many of whom  had been awarded land  grants as payment for their services during the war of independence (ref. Ohio Land Company and Northwest Ordinance of 1787) exploring and settling land in the Ohio Territory.

Hopefully, if you are reading this, you will ask a question or add a bit of information about the Hudnalls of Alexander Township, near Albany in Athens County Ohio.

When you view the slideshow and read "An Ohio Adventure," I hope that you will be as thrilled as I am to see history in progress. Please share your stories and information from family treasures that you may have received. Let's create an informational photostory together.
